SARDINE is pleased to present a group show titled personal:interpersonal:connected. The exhibition features work by Kate Harding, Deborah Hilert, Sarah Heinemann, Ellen Siebers and Elisa Soliven. It opens Saturday, July 11th from 6 to 9 pm and will be up through Sunday, August 2, 2015.

Kate Harding is an artist living and working between Los Angeles, New York City and Missouri. Harding has a degree from the School of Visual Arts’ MFA Art Practice program (2014), and holds a BFA from Otis College and an AAS from SUNY FIT. Exhibitions and screenings include Grace Exhibition Space, Glasshouse, Invisible Dog, Sardine, Brooklyn, NY; CP Projects Space, Visual Arts Gallery, Electronic Arts Intermix, New York, NY; Rosamund Felson, Echo Park Film Center, Edward Cella Art + Architecture, SeeLine, Track 16 Gallery, Circus Gallery, Los Angeles, CA; East Central College Gallery, Union, MO. Deborah Hilert lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She has a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. Hilert has exhibited in several group shows at Sardine and most recently she was included in Harthaus during Bushwick Open Studios.
Sarah Heinemann is a Brooklyn based artist. She was born in Chicago, IL. Sarah attended Smith College and holds a BFA in Painting from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She received an Odyssey Travel Grant from SAIC. Her work has shown at Marwen Alumni Gallery and Open End Space in Chicago, as well as Ace Gallery in New York and Mass MoCA's 28 Holden St. Gallery in North Adams, MA.
Ellen Siebers is a painter based in New York. Siebers was born and raised in the Midwest. She received her MFA from the University of Iowa and her BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Siebers recently had solo exhibitions as a part of Bushwick Open Studios and at Matteawan Gallery in Beacon, New York. Sieber’s work is currently part of a group show at frosch&portman called Cosmicomics up through August 16, 2015.
Elisa Soliven lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She received an MFA in Painting from Hunter College in 2011. Her work has been included in group exhibitions at Nudashank, Baltimore; Bull & Ram, NYC; Grizzly, Grizzly, Philadelphia; and Janet Kurnatowski, Brooklyn. In 2014, Soliven had a solo exhibition of recent work at John Davis in Hudson, NY.
